• Use with students in the library to find pictures for research (in place of google images)

• Make promotional items for library events, for example, the student library assistants are sponsoring a social next Friday to raise funds for the school library.

• Similar to google docs – could be used with students for easy storage online.

• Convert you tube videos (or other video streaming) for school use (as you tube is blocked by many school filters). Help long time teachers convert their files that are not compatible to new technologies.

• Use in the library to create valuable program data for advocacy.

• Polls relating to teacher opinions for professional learning communities.
StumbleUpon http://www.stumbleupon.com/
• Suggest use to teachers when looking for websites to enhance curriculum or lesson plans.
Rollyo http://rollyo.com/
• Helpful as a librarian to set up for specific topics used by grade levels to help create and add to curriculum content.
BubblUs http://www.bubbl.us/
• Great alternative to Inspiration, especially in a tight economy. Use for brainstorm sessions with classes before research.
Voki http://www.voki.com/
• Use in the library with lessons for introducing new applications; example: databases.

Jing http://www.jingproject.com/
• Create videos for quick tutorials for staff and students. Student use for projects.
Animoto http://animoto.com/
• Use with students for projects instead of power point.
